Two Girls and a Boy!

Today was our first big ultrasound appointment, so we were very hopeful that we would have good news. We left feeling great about all of the babies development AND we got to learn the sexes of the babies! The identical twins are girls and the singleton is a boy!!!

The doctor was able to see most of the structures he wanted to see, and really only had trouble with baby A because she is all squished in the lowest spot. He thought maybe in three weeks or so she would be big enough to show all her organs.

Things are still going very well for me. I am able to eat a lot more now and I am not feeling sick very often at all. I still get very tired, but I can work with that more easily than with the nausea.

Tim and I are looking forward to Christmas and hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas!!!

15 Weeks

Last Wednesday was my 33rd birthday, so my Mom took a picture of me and also one of me & Tim.

You can see how much my face has changed in the first one. And the second one shows the babies. I still need to focus on gaining more weight. But it is hard with the limited room in my stomach.

Tim and I had a very nice weekend as I was feeling much better. We made lasagna and decorated for Christmas on Saturday. Sunday we made french toast and went to the warm water therapy pool. I feel much better after swimming, but I am exhausted...so it is a trade-off. Yesterday I told him that I was more tired after floating in the water for 55 minutes than I was after the triathlons.

I am still not positive if I am feeling the babies kick or not. I keep thinking I do, but it is so fast and light that I am not sure. The books say anytime now, so I am very ready. The books also say that ultrasounds will now be able to detect the babies sexes, so we are very hopeful for the appointment on Dec. 22.
